The wide range of talents and skills of Westminster Public Schools students will be on full display during the CE! awards and talent show on Wednesday, April 24.

Dr. Justin Davis brings extensive experience with leadership and instruction that has touched the lives of many students over the years.

Westminster Public Schools is excited to announce that our district is in the process of adopting a new Comprehensive Health Curriculum. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to provide our students with a comprehensive, engaging, and modern health education that prepares them for the challenges and opportunities of the future.

The students of Westminster Public Schools, especially Westminster High School, definitely gave their all to Make-A-Wish Colorado.

The calendar for the coming year provides for extended breaks in November (Thanksgiving), December-January (Holiday Break), and March (Spring Break).

Superintendent Swanson was pleased we were selected to share our proactive approach to dealing with truancy and attendance problems during a recent statewide gathering of educators.

About 200 people attended the Breakfast on March 1, raising about $45,000 for the Foundation.

About 130 students participated in the event with parents in attendance to celebrate the students' success.

The district wide event, Wish Week, will begin next Tuesday, February 27th, until March 9th. 

The WPS Futures program offers team sports opportunities for students of all ages putting many of the students on track to become Wolves and play for Westminster High School.

Whether it’s sports, spelling, science, performing or visual arts, our students have access to an amazing number of opportunities to enrich their lives outside the classroom.

Phase one of the campus will offer STEM/CTE pathways in Aerospace Engineering, Biotechnology, and Cyber Technology.  When fully constructed, the campus will  offer a diverse range of classes  with the eventual goal of hosting evening programming for adult learners.

WPS is hard at work on next year’s budget. It puts as many resources as possible in the classroom.

In Dave’s current role as the mail and delivery person, he takes his responsibilities seriously, and keeps everyone on their toes in the schools and departments.

Delivering her final State of the District report, Superintendent Pam Swanson said Westminster Public Schools has come a long way since she was named Superintendent in 2011.
